The sporting guidance and coordination of the organization office of the rally is in the hands of the experienced rally specialist Richard Schalber. He gained his first experience with the country and its people in the context of his participation in the Transsyberia 2006 (2nd place). He already took on the organization and execution of the Transsyberia successfully in 2007. This, as well as his many years in the off-road field prove that Richard Schalber is the ideal man for the sporting guidance of this event.

Schalber has decades of experience in off road motorsport, as successful athlete, as well as organizer and team manager. He headed the motorcycle factory team of BMW at the Dakar Rally in the years 1998, 1999 and 2000.

As organizer he initiated the Enduro events Transdanubia Ride and Alto Turia Ride and currently manages the Suzuki Offroad Camp in Spain.
