Millen and Kelsey win the Transsyberia Rally 2007 in a Porsche Cayenne Transsyberia
The Team North America 2 has won the Transsyberia Rally 2007. During the final stage rally legend Rod Millen and his co-pilot Richard Kelsey in their Porsche Cayenne Transsyberia maintain their lead ahead of the Italian crew Antonio Tognana and Carlo Cassino and the Team Quatar with Adel Abdulla and Norbert Lutteri. Only the navigation performance counted during the 13.7 mile long test on the outskirts of the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar. Timing was not done. Millen and Kelsey found all checkpoints, so that their lead in the overall standings couldn’t be disputed anymore. "We are very happy to have won. The Transsyberia was the biggest challenge of my motorsport career", said Millen in crossing the finish line.
